Facebook Pic of the Week: 1 to 7 December 2014

Good morning and happy 2015 to everyone!

We are a bit behind on our posts here, but everyone deserves a holiday over the festive season, right?

Our first week of December was a special one. We asked our community to submit their best images taken in 2014 to the theme #MyBestShot2014. After this post we will post an image selection as a "best of December" to cover the rest of that month.

How can we not select this absolutely over-the-top cute photo of two wild leopard cubs from the Sabi Sands in South Africa? The photographer is Michael Moss from the USA - check out his website HERE.

Facebook Pic of the Week: 8 to 14 September 2014

Since we posted an abstract composition last week, why not carry on that trend?
It was an OPEN THEME this past week, which means #AnythingGoes as far as photo submissions are concerned.

This lovely perspective of a leopard grooming itself with a raspy tongue was captured by Rouxlé Kriel from South Africa. You can see more of her work on her website: http://krielwildlifephoto.weebly.com/

Facebook Pic of the Week: 14 to 20 April 2014

Well, we're running a tad behind with the weekly pic announcements, but don't fear - we will catch up in no time.

The week of 14 to 20 April 2014 was a week where anything was allowed (no specific theme, thus), and this stellar and eye-dropping photo stood out to us. It was taken by well-known legendary wildlife photographer Daryl Balfour. You can see more of his amazing work on his website: www.darylbalfour.com

Facebook Pic of the Week: 10 to 16 March 2014

Alrighty then - here we go with last week's pic of the week from our Facebook Page.

There was no specific theme for this week, so all nature images posted during the week come into contention. We just love this stealthy and spooky image of a Kalahari leopard, photographed by Hendri Venter using a slow shutter panning technique.

You can see more of his amazing photography on his website: www.digitalwild.co.za
