Facebook Pic of the Week: 5 to 11 January 2015

Well folks, it's time to revive the weekly features. Our theme for the week of 5-11 January 2015 was #FamilyFun, and we asked our community to share interesting moments of wildlife interaction in a family context.

This image of cheetah youngsters playing around was posted by Alison Buttigieg. You can see more of her work on her website: www.alisonbuttigieg.com

The AFRICANature brand is about high quality imagery. You don't have to be a professional photographer to produce high quality imagery, but you need to know your equipment, know your subject and know how to process your photos properly.

We hope you enjoyed this selection. Please do share our webpage with those who are also interested in the natural heritage of Africa! We look forward to sharing many more amazing African moments with you in 2015...

GooglePlus Pic of the Week: 14 to 20 April 2014

There were a couple of great photos shared via the +AFRICANature page on G+ during this particular week.

This photo of lion cubs on a kill by +Penny Robartes stood out to us. It was taken on the banks of the Chobe river in Botswana, and she was able to get close with the help of a photographic boat. You can see more of her work on her G+ profile as well as on her Facebook page:

Thanks to everyone who is starting to contribute to the AFRICANature theme on G+...we are looking forward to building the same engagement and community spirit as we have over on our Facebook page

Remember to tag your quality African wildlife and landscape photos on G+ with the hashtag #AFRICANature and also tag the +AFRICANature page so we can consider your work for resharing and a possible feature here on the blog.
