Facebook Pic of the Week: 27 July to 2 August 2015

We stuck with an open them for the week of 27 July to 2 August 2015.
The variety and quality of images received for our #AnythingGoes theme is usually very high.

This young Spotted Hyena moving along with a meal in its mouth, expertly captured using a slow shutter speed, caught our eyes. The photographer is Rouxlé Jooste, and you can check out her Facebook page HERE.

Facebook Pic of the Week: 14 to 20 July 2014

We didn't choose a specific theme for this particular week's sharing from our Facebook Page. A variety of landscape, bird and wildlife images made their way into the newsfeed of our followers, thanks to our amazing contributors.

Trevor Kleyn shared this unique photo of a Spotted Hyaena  lying amidst a bed of wildflowers, being closely watched by a journey of Giraffes. This scene played out in Mashatu, Botswana. You can see more of his work on his website: www.trevorkleyn.com

Facebook Pic of the Week: 12 to 18 May 2014

It's time to look at some stand-out photos from the AFRICANature Facebook Page from last week. There was no specific theme, which always makes for some interesting viewing due to the variety we see in those weeks.

How could we not pick this quirky shot of a Spotted Hyena youngster? The ultra-wide angle perspective makes this come alive. The photographer is Keith Connelly, a wildlife photographer and safari guide based in the Timbavati Game Reserve of South Africa. Check out more of his work: http://500px.com/Keith-Connelly
